The Event Planning & Logistics Intern will assist in organizing our Spring Fashion Soirée, the debut of our Latin American designers in the U.S. This role involves collaborating with local communities, influencers, PR firms, boutique owners, and sponsors, as well as handling logistics with participating brands. A perfect mix of creativity and strong organizational skills is essential to support event planning and ensure smooth execution.

Responsibilities
- - Assist in planning & executing the Spring Fashion Soirée, managing event timelines, and coordinating logistics with brands and vendors.
- Help identify and build relationships with local communities, influencers, & PR firms to maximize event visibility.
- Assist in securing event sponsors across different tiers, ensuring strong partnerships & sponsor benefits.
- Coordinate event materials, brand participation, and on-the-ground logistics to ensure seamless execution.
- Work closely with the Ojaláb team to ensure all event details align with the company’s goals and brand values.
Qualifications
- Passion for event planning, previous experience/coursework in event coordination a plus.
- Excellent at managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and details in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative thinker who can contribute to event concepts and bring fresh ideas to life.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, sponsors, and external partners.
- Collaborative and able to work well with diverse teams.
- Proactive problem solver that can collaborate with the team to tackle any arising challenges in event planning.
- Must be currently enrolled in a U.S. college/university and available for college credit.
- Must be available for 15 hours per week from January 2025 to May 2025.
